Illoguild Illustrator Spotlight
Rose Lihou is a childrenβs book author and illustrator. Her work is so very sweet, as is she- always supportive and available to offer help or insight. Here are some of her adorable and charming illustrations:
The first book of her upcoming 3 book series, Tiny Dogs, will be published in April 2024 by Puffin, who won a 5 way auction for her story. A young girl named Bea discovers tiny dogs in the garden, and together they go on adventures to help each other. It is a fully illustrated (in color!) chapter book for young readers, so in addition to children enjoying reading story, they will be transported into Beaβs world through the sweetest illustrations.
Before becoming a kid book creator, Rose worked as a book designer, freelance illustrator/graphic designer, shop manager, small business owner, and even at a bar in Fratton Park, aka home of Portsmouth FC!
Sheβs also Mum to two wonderful daughters. And lastly, we canβt forget her studio assistant, Herbie:
Give Rose a follow on Substack, Instagram or X, and you can ever pre-order a copy of Tiny Dogs here!
