A month ago, 7 of the illoguild members were lucky enough to meet in person at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair #BCBF
After the initial surprise that everyone is 3-D, we had a wonderful time getting to know each other better, gained a lot of industry knowledge, met many other illustrators and enjoyed Italian food.
We have shared our reflections (see links below) to give you a chance to reminisce (if you were there); a taste of what it was like (if you weren’t there); some ideas on how to approach fairs or networking events in the future; and help you make a decision of whether you should go next year or not.
